The base for what we do is excellence in fundamental science to improve our understanding of food materials. And building on the heritage of our founder Adolphe Merkle we strive to translate this to successful innovations for the agri-food ecosystem of the canton of Fribourg and beyond.
We believe that successful innovation requires many different competences that need to be brought together via collaborations. Some of the key players in the agri-food ecosystem of the canton are:
Collaboration Opportunities
Depending on your needs we are open to a wide variety of research collaborations from small proof of concept studies to larger research agreements:
- Master studies, PhD studies as well as PostDoc assignments
- Pre-competitive work using third party funding (SNSF, InnoSuisse, Bridge and European funding schemes)
- Research agreements with full ownership of the IP for the industrial partner
