Worarin Meesorn joined Adolphe Merkle Institute September 2014 as a PhD student in the Polymer Chemistry and Materials group. Worarin received his BSc degree in Chemistry (with Honors) in 2012 from Chiang Mai University (Chiang Mai, Thailand) and received his MSc in Polymer Science in 2014 from the Petroleum and Petrochemical College at Chulalongkorn University (Bangkok, Thailand). He also joined the polymer group of Prof. Lei Zhu at Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, USA) as a visiting scholar in 2014. He is curently working on new approaches for the development of bioinspired nanocomposites with stimulus-responsive mechanical properties.
