I am a Chemical Engineer and rheologist with over 20 years of experience in the food and medical nutrition industry.
I work in food materials science because it combines my interest in fundamental materials science with my engineering need to apply knowledge to solve problems. The food sector has a very rich and challenging set of systems to play with, but I am particularly interested in complex rheological and transport problems (diffusion, heat transfer, flows).
You can ask me about anything you like, but I might be able to give you a useful answer on things related to fluid mechanics, rheology, differential equations, dimensional analysis, business models, clinical trials, swallowing biomechanics, suspensions, foams, emulsions, powders, guitars and music.
