Cells interact constantly with themselves and with a complex dynamic network of fibrillar and non fibrillar compounds which dictate cells responses. In order to comprehend it is essential to design substrates able to mimic the extracellular matrix (ECM) and its dynamicity. Here we fabricate magnetically responsive isotropic and anisotropic substrates by combining biocompatible polymer and nanomaterials. Cellsubstrate interaction is then evaluated by means of light microscopy (LSM, hyperspectral imaging) and electron microscopy.
