I am a Physicist and Engineer specialized in food applications. ​

My recent research has been diverse. I developed novelmetrology for characterization of food powders. I alsodeveloped a deep-learning model to help understand felinefeeding behaviour from video. I believe that a solid backgroundin Physics and Math, good engineering practice, and theadoption of new technologies such as AI are key to successfulresearch.​

My current research at the Adolphe Merkle Institute centers onunderstanding the freezing process of food materials and use itto engineer structures in food (and non-food) materials undercontrolled freezing conditions.
