I am a Physicist and Engineer specialized in food applications

My recent research has been diverse. I developed novelmetrology for characterization of food powders. I alsodeveloped a deep-learning model to help understand felinefeeding behaviour from video. I believe that a solid backgroundin Physics and Math, good engineering practice, and theadoption of new technologies such as AI are key to successfulresearch.

My current research at the Adolphe Merkle Institute centers onunderstanding the freezing process of food materials and use itto engineer structures in food (and non-food) materials undercontrolled freezing conditions.
