Block copolymer self-assembly
Block copolymer self-assembly unlocks large, ordered 3D nanostructures for advanced material applications
Block copolymer self-assembly can create macroscopically large films of complex 3D network-like nanostructures. The project aims to develop methods for creating large areas of monocrystalline ordered geometries. Using these nanoscopically structured macroscopically ordered block copolymer films as a mold opens a pathway to a number of applications such as optical and magnetic metamaterials, and energy storage materials.
