GRC Bioinspired Materials
The Gordon Research Conference Bioinspired Materials in Les Diablerets, Switzerland, is a premier, international scientific event f ocused on advancing the frontiers of science through the presentation of cutting-edge and unpublished research, prioritizing time for discussion after each talk and fostering informal interactions among scientists of all career stages. The next edition, co-chaired by the Adolphe Merle Institute's Prof. Ullrich Steiner, will take place from June 14 to 19, 2026. This meeting will encompass aspects of bioinspired research ranging from fundamental to application. The talks and discussion will cover a broad range of building blocks of bioinspired materials, the synthesis of bioinspired materials made from or inspired by these building blocks, their self-assembly, their system-level integration to create functional devices, and the application of bio-inspired materials in different domains.
